Hanley Wood announced its purchase Wednesday of the Meyers Group, a provider of residential real estate data and consulting services that tracks 75 markets, including Las Vegas. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Hanley Wood is a Washington, D.C.-based media company founded in 1976 that owns 22 magazines.
The 20-year-old Meyers Group is headquartered in Costa Mesa, Calif., and has 13 offices across the country, including one in Las Vegas. The company has 150 employees nationally and three employees locally.
Jeff Meyers, founder and chief executive of the Meyers Group, along with his management team, will stay with the company, Hanley Wood officials said. The Meyers Group was owned by Amstar Group Ltd.
