Juneteenth festival scheduled Saturday
The Las Vegas Juneteenth Committee will hold its fourth annual Juneteenth Celebration at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Sammy Davis Jr. Festival Plaza at Lorenzi Park.
Parents are invited to bring the family for the spring, outdoor event of live musical entertainment, African-American Arts and Crafts, traditional foods, and family games.
The free event commemorates the ending of slavery in the United States. Call 806-5565.
The Wellspring Church of All Nations
