Rancho High School graduate and former National Football League assistant coach Steve Kazor has accepted the job as head football coach at the College of DuPage, a junior college in Glen Ellyn, Ill.
"I don't have too many players right now," Kazor said by phone from Glen Ellyn, which is just outside of Chicago. "But I'm enthused. The school president said he'd give me everything I needed to succeed."
Kazor is a former NFL assistant with Dallas, Chicago and Detroit who was most recently head coach at Wayne State (Mich.) University.
DuPage is a two-year school that currently has 35 players on its football roster.
