Gemstone Development LLC, developer of the Manhattan Condominiums at the northeast corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Serene Avenue, plans to build another condominium complex about one mile south on Las Vegas Boulevard South in the South Pointe planned community.
Alex Edelstein, managing partner of Gemstone Development, said it is too early to say exactly how many residential condos will be on the site, but did say it will be a substantial number. There are also preliminary discussions for retail and other commercial uses for the 50-acre site that the group has dubbed the Silverado project, he said.
South Pointe is a planned mixed-used development on Las Vegas Boulevard east of Interstate 15.
