Solomon C. Advincula

Solomon C. Advincula, 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Henderson. He was born April 17, 1940, in the Philippines. A resident for 26 years, he was a self-employed paralegal.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Teodora; three daughters, Annie Tiongson and Faith Advincla, both of Las Vegas and Crystal Advincula Jr. of California; four sons, Tommy Advincula and Justin Advincula, both of Las Vegas and Solomon Advincula Jr. and Samuel Advincula, both of California; two brothers, Ricardo Advincula of California and Juanito Advincula of Las Vegas; three sisters, Virginia Telan and Gloria Thirot, both of Las Vegas and Marie Soriano of the Philippines; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 9:15 a.m. Friday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Leota Grace Booth

Leota Grace Booth, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 26, 1920, in Gerring, Neb. A resident for 50 years, she was a retired assistant housekeeper at Caesars Palace.

She is survived by one son, Robert Booth of Las Vegas; four daughters, Alyce Sockwell and Bobbie Jo Booth, both of Las Vegas, Carol Richeson of Saylor, Calif., and Ann Lusk of Spokane, Wash.; one sister, Katherine Jackson of Middleton, Idaho; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a noon service Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Francis Deemer

Neil Francis Deemer, 89, of Boulder City died Thursday in a local hospital. A retired highway patrolman, he was born Nov. 6, 1914, in Minnesota.

He is survived by one nephew, Larry Anderson of Surprise, Ariz.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Edna Deyo

Edna Deyo, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 16, 1920, in Providence, R.I. A resident for 16 years, she was retired.

She is survived by her husband, Jack; one son, Joseph Corria; three daughters, Joyce Anna Schiller, Doris Granger and Dianna Hoda; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11:45 a.m. service Wednesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

J. Wendell Filliger

J. Wendell Filliger, 81, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 2, 1923, in Chicago. A resident for six years, he was a retired architectural draftsman and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Helen E.; one son, Alan Filliger of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Kenneth R. Giles Sr.

Kenneth R. Giles Sr., 82, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born May 31, 1922, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 57 years, he owned an automobile dealership, was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the National Auto Dealers Association.

He is survived by two sons, Kenneth R. Giles and George Rodney Giles II, both of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Joyce Alice Jolley of Oregon and Earlene Miller of Salt Lake City.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Sunday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Nadine P. Harvey

Nadine P. Harvey, 78, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 5, 1925, in Adrian, Mich. A resident for 24 years, she was a retired airline passenger agent.

She is survived by one son, Brian Harvey of Indian River, Mich.; one sister, Jane Cooper of Cheboygan, Mich.

Norma J. Kincaid

Norma J. Kincaid, 57, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 21, 1947, in Los Angeles. A resident for five years, she was a retired bus driver.

She is survived by two sons, Randall Kincaid of North Las Vegas and Jerome Kincaid of California; two daughters, Carla Kincaid of Las Vegas and Dara Kincaid of North Las Vegas; three brothers, Cortiseo Morse and Miguel Morse, both of Los Angeles and Juan Morse of Diamond Bar, Calif.; one sister, Carmen Morse of Northridge, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Gary L. Leaverton

Gary L. Leaverton, 60, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 29, 1944, in Missouri. A resident for 18 years, he owned an auto parts store and was an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Rumphan; one son, Gary Lee Leaverton Jr.; one daughter, Juliette Anne Ramirez; one brother, Edward Leaverton; two sisters, Kate Harper and Nancy Case; and seven grandchildren.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.

Vincent Russell

Vincent Russell, 52, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 18, 1952, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for five years, he was a food manager.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Angie and Al Costa of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Allan Howard Ward

Allan Howard Ward, 50, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 7, 1953, in Tempe, Ariz. A resident for 34 years, he owned Howard Ward Clean Up Service, a cleaning service in the construction industry, and was a Las Vegas High School graduate.

He is survived by his wife, Diana; one stepson, Blake O'Donnell of Elko; one stepdaughter, April Johnson, and his mother, Catherine Donna Lee Marshall, both of Las Vegas; and five step-grandchildren.
