Maria Magdalena Delgado

Maria Magdalena Delgado, 28, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 20, 1975, in Los Angeles. A resident for eight years, she worked in collections at Sunterra.

She is survived by her mother, Raquel Brieno; her father, Carlos Delgado; one brother, Carlos Delgado Jr.; and one sister, Maria I. Delgado.

Services will be 3-5 p.m. Wednesday in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.

Marilyn M. Herman

Marilyn M. Herman, 68, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born July 16, 1935, in Verdi, Minn. A resident for 36 years, she was a retired owner of a sales company.

She was preceded in death by one son, Ryan Paul Nitz.

She is survived by her companion, Paul; one son, Dana Jonathon Nitz, and one daughter, Lesli Nitz Metcalfe, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Norma Meyer Ayers and Marlys Meyer McDowell; one brother, Kenneth W. Meyer; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Jones. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Raymond Jamerson

Raymond Jamerson, 46, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was born Dec. 9, 1957, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by four brothers, Nathaniel Boyd, Kenneth Boyd and Levanne Graves, all of Las Vegas, and Michael Jamerson of North Las Vegas; and three sisters, Deborah Hootsell, Margaret Jamerson and Petrie Jamerson, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until an 11 a.m. service Wednesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Raymond Lloyd Katil

Raymond Lloyd Katil, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 4, 1922, in Sioux City, S.D. A resident for 57 years, he was a pipe fitter and state director for the MARS program.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; one son, Denise Kutil, and one daughter, Rose Ann Wilson, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Erla Nelson of Brandon, S.D.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Robert Kelley

Robert Kelley, 81, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born March 11, 1922, in Enid, Okla. A resident for 44 years, he was a retired government automobile mechanic and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by three sons, Gary of Oklahoma City, Michael of Lexington, Ky., and Charles of Las Vegas; one sister, Jane of Kansas City, Kan.; one brother, Jim of Oklahoma City; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Donald Lasker

Donald Lasker, 64, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 19, 1939, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for six months, he was a retired salesman of office supplies, a Korean War Army veteran and a member of the Special Olympics.

He is survived by his wife, Madeline; one daughter, Melissa Lasker of Tulsa, Okla.; one son, Alan Lasker of Scottsdale, Ariz.; one sister, Doris Drantch of Hewlett, N.Y.; one brother, Lawrence Lasker of Jamestown, N.Y.; and five grandchildren.

Services were 2 p.m. today in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.

Edna P. 'Cindy' Lesher

Edna P. "Cindy" Lesher, 64, of Las Vegas died Jan. 11 in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 18, 1939, in Tennessee. A resident for eight months, she was a bartender.

She is survived by one son, Roy Mac McCourry; her mother, Ruth McCourry; and two sisters, Rosalie Hale of Las Vegas and Phyllis White of Florida.

Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive, is handling arrangements.

Rose Marie Maeder

Rose Marie Maeder, 42, of Pahrump died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born April 2, 1961, in Caliente. A lifetime resident of Nevada, she co-owned All Automotive in Pahrump.

She is survived by her husband, Fred; one stepdaughter, Sara Ford of Las Vegas; her parents, Joe and Betty Maeder of Caliente; two brothers, Jody Maeder of Pahrump and Mike Maeder of Wahsington state; and two grandchildren.

Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling private arrangements.

Claude N. Olsen

Claude N. Olsen, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local convalescent hospital. He was born Jan. 6, 1923, in Algona, Iowa. A resident for five years, he was a retired county manager, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Lions Club, California Treasury Association and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; one daughter, Claudia Burton of Las Vegas; one son, Mark Olsen of Tehachapi, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

John Quarmley

John Quarmley, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 9, 1921, in New York City. A resident for 53 years, he was a retired electrician, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of Masonic Lodge 32 and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 357 for 50 years.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; four daughters, Jimmee Quarmley and Debra Popejoy, both of Las Vegas, Renee Quarmley of Park City, Utah, and Catherine Martin of Seattle; and one sister, Frances O'Neill of Springfield, Pa.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Bernice Y. Raukar

Bernice Y. Raukar, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 18, 1921, in Virginia, Minn. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Rudolph F.; one daughter, Roberta Berger, and one son, Paul Raukar, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Steven A. Simpson

Steven A. Simpson, 55, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 20, 1948, in New Haven, Conn. A resident for 14 years, he was a hotel chef and a Vietnam War Navy veteran.

He is survived by his father, Arthur Simpson of North Las Vegas; and one sister, Bonnie Simpson of Henderson.

Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Samuel Sirota

Samuel Sirota, 93, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born March 5, 1910, in Antipol, Poland. A resident for five years, he was a retired general contractor.

He is survived by his companion, Louise Basey of North Las Vegas.

Graveside services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.

Beverly A. Steitz

Beverly A. Steitz, 94, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born March 12, 1909, in Kansas City, Mo. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired oil company manager and a member of the Republican National Committee.

She is survived by one son, Lee Aaron Steitz of San Gabriel, Calif.; one sister, Dorothy Hay of Idaho; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Albert E. Wardingley

Albert E. Wardingley, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 13, 1924, in Chicago. A resident for six years, he was a retired city manager in Markham, Ill., for 10 years, Columbiana, Ohio, for 25 years and Leetonia, Ohio, for two years, a World War II Army veteran who served in the 94th Infantry Division under Gen. Patton and was past commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9801.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; one son, David A. Wardingley of Castleberry, Fla.; one daughter, Marsha Wardingley of Las Vegas; six brothers, Charles Wardingley of Florida, Ray Wardingley and George Wardingley, both of Chicago, Arthur Wardingley of Santa Fe Springs, Calif., Louis Wardingley of Salem, Ohio, and Richard Wardingley of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
