Nevada Power rates at issue

The state Public Utilities Commission will hold meetings this month to hear from consumers on a pair of rate increase requests proposed by Nevada Power Co.
Two sessions are scheduled for Tuesday. The first will be at 1 p.m. at the North Las Vegas City Hall, 2200 Civic Center Drive. Another session is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Winchester Community Center, 3130 S. McLeod Ave.
Two more sessions are scheduled Jan. 20. The first at 1 p.m. at the Henderson Convention Center, 200 Water St. Another session will follow at 6 p.m. at Richard Bryan Elementary School, 8050 Cielo Vista Ave.
