Ward said Proctor has also been recognized as chairman of the Legislative Committee.

Proctor represents the Southern Nevada Judges on the State Judicial Council and was selected as Judge of the Year for 2002.

The new president said his priorities during his term include, preparing the educational classes for the next two judges meetings and assisting the Nevada Judges Association Legislative Committee in preparing for the 2005 Legislature.
