A man with an apparent gunshot wound was found in an apartment complex laundry room about 4:30 a.m. today, said Sgt. Rocky Alby of Metro's homicide section.
A resident of the Pine Woods apartments at 3601 Cambridge St., across from the Boulevard mall, stopped in the laundry room to throw away some trash and, when he turned on the light, he found the victim.
Alby said the victim doesn't appear to have been robbed. Detectives are investigating whether the homicide was drug or gang-related.
The victim's name was not released this morning. He was said to be in his 20s.
