Mauritz Otto Danielson

Mauritz Otto Danielson, 94, of Boulder City died Sunday in Boulder City. He was born April 4, 1909, in Laurel, Neb. A resident for 29 years, he was an agricultural inspector for California and has been retired for 29 years.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; two sons, Dick Danielson and Dennis Danielson, both of Scottsdale, Ariz.; four sisters; one brother; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Boulder City Cemetery, 501 Adams Blvd. Boulder City Family Mortuary, 833 Nevada Way, Suite 1, is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Joseph J. Gemma

Joseph J. Gemma, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born May 22, 1925, in Norwalk, Conn. A resident for 44 years, he was a retired sheet metal worker and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Adeline.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until an 11 a.m. service Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.

Donald G. Lee

Donald G. Lee, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 20, 1929, in Texas. A resident for 34 years, he was a retired convenience store owner, a Vietnam War Army veteran and a member of the Masons.

He is survived by his wife, Aletta; one daughter, Donna Stephens of Humble, Texas; three stepdaughters, Cathy Carey of Evansville, Ind., Debbie Recine of Colorado and Katie Thomas-Sandoval of Las Vegas; three stepsons, Duane Cooper of Page, Ariz., and David Thomas and Darren Thomas, both of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Manuel R. Lucero

Manuel R. Lucero, 78, of North Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 14, 1925, in Colorado. A resident for 46 years, he was a retired cement mason.

He is survived by two daughters, Elaine Lucero and Myra Lucero, and two sons, Steven Lucero and Dominic Lucero, all of Las Vegas; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park.

Kermit Allen Moe

Kermit Allen Poe, 88, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 8, 1915. A resident for 60 years, he was an accountant. He helped found the accounting firm, Conway, Moe & Hibbs and then merged with Main Lafrentz & Co. in 1966. He was a former member of Nevada State Board of Accountants, a founding member of Paradise Valley Country Club, now known as Wild Horse Golf Course in Green Valley.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Olga; and one son, Timothy.

He is survived by his wife, Anne; and one son, Greg Moe of Texas; and four grandchildren.

Ann (Sumerack) Pawlowski

Ann (Sumerack) Pawlowski, 93, of Las Vegas died Dec. 23 in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 21, 1910, in Chicago. A resident for 54 years, she was a retired bookkeeper in the aviation industry.

She is survived by three sisters, Jean L. Ahrendt and LaVerne Cali, both of Las Vegas, and Marie Tierney of Forest Park, Ill.; and one niece, Doris Jean Kohoutek.

Kenneth Mitchell Posey

Kenneth Mitchell Posey, 48, of North Las Vegas died Jan. 28 in Dolan Springs, Ariz. He was born March 13, 1945, in Hollywood, Calif. A resident for five years, he was an entrepreneur.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda; one daughter, Sheila Speck of Indiana; one son, Keith Posey, and one brother, Donald Posey, both of Arizona; one sister, Carol Posey of California; and three grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Sutton Funeral Home, Kingman, Ariz., handled arrangements.

Lottie Pullock

Lottie Pullock, 86, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born April 23, 1917, in Detroit. A resident for 10 years, she was a waitress.

She is survived by two daughters, Penny Weber of Jacksonville, Fla., and Elaine Johnson of Sun Valley; two sisters, Irene Gawkowski of Livonia, Mich., and Helen Ruest of Naugatuck, Conn.; and two granddaughters.

A nicheside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

William Walter Stevens

William Walter Stevens, 64, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 22, 1939, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for eight years, he was a seaman.

He is survived by one son, Gene Stevens of Las Vegas.

Services will be private. Hites Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Abe Toscher

Abe Toscher, 88, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 14, 1915, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 42 years, he was a retired Stardust hotel liquor controller, a World War II Army veteran and a recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.

He is survived by his wife, Gerry; two sons, Mark Toscher of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Steve Toscher of Los Angeles; and five grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Eloisa I. Valladares

Eloisa I. Valladares, 89, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born May 10, 1914, in Mexico. A resident for two years, she was a retired teacher.

She is survived by one son, Ignacio; three daughters, Olivia, Rosa and Beatriz; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 4-5 p.m. Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Robin Louise Cole White

Robin Louise Cole White, 42, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born Jan. 31, 1961, in Pensacola, Fla.

She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Lee; her father, Robert Lawrence Cole Sr. of Nevada; one brother, Robert Jr. of Washington state; and two sisters, Rosanne Cole of Las Vegas and Rhonda Barrett of Oklahoma.

A private memorial service will be Feb. 14 at Cornerstone Christian Church, 5825 W. Eldora St. Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Sherman Wilridge

Sherman Wilridge, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 3, 1940, in Crowley, La. A resident for 51 years, he was a retired construction worker at the Nevada Test Site.

He is survived by two brothers, Melvin Guidry of Las Vegas and Brooklyn Wilridge of North Las Vegas; and four sisters, Samella Ceaser, Carolyn Clark and Anne Dell Wilridge, all of Las Vegas, and Annie Mae Handy of Crowley, La.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be noon Friday in Palm Chapel, Main. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mark Steven Winn

Mark Steven Winn of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A police officer and a veteran, he was born in Detroit.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; one son, Brian Lawrence.

Visitation is scheduled 9-11 a.m. Saturday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd.
