Frank Carl Aliano

Frank Carl Aliano, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 5, 1921, in New York. A resident for several years, he was retired from the construction industry and was a World War II Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Chris Bohannon of Las Vegas; one son, Craig Aliano of Miramonte, Calif.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Rosalla Bennett

Rosalla Bennett, 88, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. A hairdresser, she was born Oct. 26, 1916, in Port Huron, Mich.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence; one daughter, Gayle Danzak of Las Vegas; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Willow Creek Assisted Living, 3351 N. Buffalo Drive. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Gloria Joy Brown

Gloria Joy Brown, 61, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 8, 1943, in Cullman, Ala. A resident for two years, she was a retired caregiver.

She is survived by four sons, Henry Gerig and Mack Parker, both of Las Vegas, John Ted Metcalf of Cullman and Tim Parker of Fultondale, Ala.

Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. is handling arrangements.

Joe Campbell Jr.

Joe Campbell Jr. 65, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born April 21, 1939, in Jackson, Miss. A resident for three years, he was a retired slot technician.

He is survived by two daughters, Gina Campbell and Angela Cooper, both of Los Angeles; one sister, Barbara C. Sampson of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Wyatt G. James

Wyatt G. James, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born May 31, 1921, in Indianapolis. A resident for three years, he was a retired machinist in the automobile industry, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Flint Vehicle City Golf Club.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel; one son, Craig James of North Las Vegas; one daughter, Barbara James Cobb of Stone Mountain, Ga.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Cedric P. Lewis Sr.

Cedric P. Lewis Sr., 28, of Las Vegas died Dec. 16 in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 6, 1976, in Louisiana. A resident for one month, he was a brick mason.

He is survived by his wife, Carrie; one son, Cedric Jr.; two daughters, Jalen and Alazae; his father, Winston Doss; his mother and stepfather, Linda Henderson and Robert Henderson; one brother, Melvin; and three sisters, Trina, Dimitrius and Winter.

Visitation was scheduled one hour prior to a 3 p.m. service today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Grace E. Moore

Grace E. Moore, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 1, 1932, in Sulphur Springs, Texas. A resident for three years, she was a nurse's aide.

She is survived by three daughters, Joyce E. Moore-Dozier of Vernon, Okla., Ja'Nice Moore-Miller and Gwendolyn Moore, both of Las Vegas; five sons, Azrow Moore Jr. and Darryl Moore, both of Orlando, Fla., and Lavester Moore, John Moore and Vincent Moore, all of Wichita, Kan.; one sister, Ada Lee Simms of Sulphur Springs; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be in Sulphur Springs. No local services. Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

James P. O'Brien

James P. O'Brien, 64, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 6, 1940, in New York. A resident for 10 years, he was a pipe fitter.

He is survived by his wife, Anita; two sons, Shawn E. O'Brien and Simon Ordaz; one daughter, Colleen; two brothers, William and Charles; one sister, Alice; and three grandchildren.

Candice Christine Rodriguez

Candice Christine Rodriguez, 17, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born June 27, 1987, in Denver. A resident for 11 years, she was a student.

She is survived by her mother, Lisa C. Frias, three brothers, Albert Rodriguez, Raymond Rodriguez and Rudy Frias, one sister, Evanna Frias, and her grandparents, Rudy and Eva Valdez, Eliseo Jose Chavez, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation was scheduled from noon until a 7 p.m. service today in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Burial will be private.
