A second female North Las Vegas Police officer has filed a federal lawsuit against the city alleging that she is being harassed and subjected to a hostile work environment.
Pamela Sword-Frakes' suit comes on the heels of a similar suit filed earlier this month by Officer Patricia Williams.
The suits allege that the women received threatening phone calls and were forced to do more work in retaliation for a previous lawsuits they filed against the city that resulted in a settlement.
Willems and Sword-Frakes settled the previous federal lawsuits against the city in 2002 with Willem getting $75,000 and Sword-Frakes getting $35,000.
In those suits Willems and Sword-Frakes alleged that the department allowed a hostile work environment and sexual discrimination.
