Paul Bellanca III

Paul Bellanca III, 16, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A high school student, he was born Oct.19, 1987, in New York.

He is survived by his parents, Susan (Gryniewicki) and Paul T. Bellanca Jr.

No local services are scheduled. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Solon E. Bradford

Solon E. Bradford, 77, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 26, 1926, in Tennessee. A resident for eight years, he was a painting technician, and a Navy and Coast Guard veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Darr T.; one son, Mark Bradford, and one daughter, Taffi Stevenson, both of Texas; one brother, Frank Bradford, and three sisters, Anna, Joyce and Dixie, all of Ohio; and one grandchild.

Graveside services will be held at noon Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to the Mesothelioma Organization, 1030 Fifth Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15219.

Ambrose M. Damon

Ambrose M. Damon, 88, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 5, 1915, in Maine. A resident for more than 40 years, he was a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel.

He is survived by two daughters, Mary Halstead of Las Vegas and Lucille Wilbank of Whitmire, S.C.; one grandchild; 15 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-noon Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow at noon Friday in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

James Page Sr.

James Page Sr., 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born July 21, 1931, in Tallulah, La. A resident for 41 years, he was a retired hotel supervisor.

He is survived by one son, James Page Jr. of Las Vegas; four sisters, Joan Page and Neola Richard, both of North Las Vegas, and Pearlie M. Simon and Mary Bailey, both of Louisiana; three brothers, Floyd Jenkins and Matthew Jenkins, both of Louisiana and Solomon Jenkins; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 3-5 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Vennie Pelle

Vennie Pelle, 86, of Las Vegas died July 27 in Las Vegas. She was born June 9, 1918, in Houston. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Jason Pelle of Las Vegas.

Willie A. Richmond

Willie A. Richmond, 79, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A resident for 15 years, she was born Dec. 14, 1924, in Picayune, Miss.

She is survived by her husband, Nathan; five daughters, Janice Richmond and Gloria Johnson, both of Oakland, Calif., and Beverly Richmond, Mary Richmond and Alice Turner, all of Las Vegas; four sons, Ronnie Richmond, Milton Richmond, Charles Richmond and John Burton, all of Las Vegas; 45 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Friday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Second Baptist Church, 500 W. Madison Ave. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Gerald Gene Robbins

Gerald Gene Robbins, 71, of Laughlin died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A petroleum maintenance foreman, he was born April 30, 1933, in Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; and one son, Ronald Robbins of Las Vegas.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in California. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Bill Thomas Jr.

Bill Thomas Jr., 68, of Las Vegas died July 29 in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 28, 1936, in Livingston, Ala. A resident for six years, he was a truck driver.

He is survived by three sons, Reginald, Cedric and Jeffery; and two daughters, Ruby and Cynthia.

John L. Timothy

John L. Timothy, 93, of Boulder City died Tuesday in Boulder City. He was born April 15, 1911, in Max, N.D. A resident for eight years, he was a retired farmer and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; two daughters, Marvelle Lunde of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Marilyn Maxwell of Boulder City; one son, Dale Timothy of Loma Linda, Calif.; one sister, Christine Devinch of Lincoln, Neb.; one brother, Donald Timothy of Columbus, N.C.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Seventh Day Adventist Church, Boulder City.

Betty J. Vallely

Betty J. Vallely, 72, of Boulder City died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 8, 1931, in Santa Monica, Calif. A resident for 36 years, she was a retired horseback riding instructor.

She was preceded in death by twin daughters; and one son.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James Vallely; one daughter, Diane Greene; one son, Bob Vallely, all of Boulder City; one sister, Pat Wilson of Torrance, Calif.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
