The Stratosphere hotel-casino is proposing another ride. This one would dangle and twirl people above the Las Vegas Strip.
The ride would be on the northeast side of the 866-foot-high observation deck of the tower. It was approved by the Las Vegas Planning Commission Thursday night.
Val Potter, director of sales and marketing for Logan, Utah-based Interactive Rides Inc., said up to 10 riders would be loaded on the ride on the observation deck. Five arms of a centrifuge with two riders per arm would be extended over the edge.
