Letter: Time for change at White House

How many more Americans are going to lose their lives in Iraq before the Bush administration admits that the war is being fought in the wrong place and at the wrong time?

The people of Iraq have a culture that is alien to us. Democratic government as we know it is alien to the people of Iraq. Americans are dying in Iraq so the Bush administration can practice "nation building."

Our economy is in shambles. We are drowning in red ink. We have the largest budget deficit in the history of the country. Is Iraq going to turn into another Vietnam?

The November election cannot come quick enough for me. It's time we had a change at the White House!
