Musical set on ‘Sesame Street’ will come to LV

Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie are coming to Las Vegas.
"Out of This World," a new Broadway-style musical, featuring many of the best-loved characters from the long-running children's program, opens May 6 at Cox Pavilion at University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
The show runs four days, with eight scheduled performances: 7 p.m. May 6; 10:30 a.m., 7 p.m. May 7; 10:30 a.m., 2 p.m., 5:30 p.m., May 8; 1 p.m., 4:30 p.m. May 9.
Tickets, which go on sale at 10 a.m. today at the Thomas & Mack Center Ticket Office and all UNLV ticket outlets, are priced: $12, $14, $18 and $22.

"Out of This World" is the story of two homesick Martians stuck on Sesame Street. It's up to the Sesame Street residents to get them back to their home planet, which teaching them about Earth in the process.
