Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2003 | 9:44 a.m.
Las Vegas will be pitching opportunities for development in Centennial Hills Town Center in an event 9 a.m to noon Thursday in the Pueblo Room at Santa Fe Station.
The event will be hosted by Ward 6 Councilman Michael Mack and the Office of Business Development and will include a bus tour that will be attended by Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman.
The purpose of the event is to show brokers, lenders, designers and developers the opportunities available in more than 2,000 commercially zoned acres north of Cheyenne Avenue.
"Town Center has a unique master-planned approach and there are some tremendous opportunities for developers and we want to educate them on what the northwest has to offer," said Mack, who represents the area.
