Story hour set at Old Fort
The Old Fort State Historic Park will hold a story hour program with the Las Vegas Library at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the fort, 500 E. Washington Ave.
The program will include a guided tour of the fort, an activity related to the history of the fort and refreshments.
Admission is $2; $1 for children ages 6-12; children 6 and under are free.

County planning Camp Silver Pines
Recruitment is now under way for Clark County Parks and Recreation Services' Camp Silver Pines for Active Adults, Wednesday through Sept. 19.
Camp Silver Pines is three days and two nights of adventure, workshops, hiking, nature appreciation, bird watching and much more.
