Jerel K. Coffman

Jerel K. Coffman, 72, of Indian Springs died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 11, 1931, in New Hope, Ark. A resident for 43 years, he was a retired forestry aid and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Elva Lillian; one daughter, Noreen O. Johnsen of San Antonio; and three grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling private arrangements.

Kenneth John Heine

Kenneth John Heine, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 21, 1924, in New York City. A resident for 50 years, he was an employee at the Nevada Test Site, a stage crewman at the Desert Inn, a World War II Navy veteran, a lifetime member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and a member of the Stagehands Union.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce M.; three sons, John R. Casano and Craig R. Heine, both of Las Vegas, and Wayne R. Heine of Oregon; five daughters, Patricia J. Peterno of Daytona, Fla., Christine A. Kendrick of Bartlesville, Okla., Julianne M. Di Blasi of Staten Island, N.Y., Mary E. Gibson of Las Vegas and Merri Lynn Yerage of Santa Clarita, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 6 p.m. Monday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.

The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Stuart N. Josefsberg

Stuart N. Josefsberg, 73, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born May 6, 1930, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for one year, he was an attorney for 45 years and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalind Wagner; four sons, John Wright and William Wright, both of North Las Vegas, John Josefsberg of Plano, Texas, and James Adelman of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and three daughters, Katherine Runkle of Temecula, Calif., Carrie Levin of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Madeline Josefsberg of Gainesville, Fla.

Private graveside services will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Muriel Kaplan

Muriel Kaplan, 81, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 3, 1922, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry; one daughter, Nina Baron of Las Vegas; one son, David Dishotsky of San Rafael, Calif.; two brothers, Henry Braunstein of Vista, Calif., and Murray Kahn of Union, N.J.; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Sunday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.

Bernard L. Little

Bernard L. Little, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 19, 1930, in Minnesota. A resident for many years, he was a captain of the marshal's department.

He is survived by two daughters, Ricki Little McHugh of Aspen, Colo., and Robin Garvik of Carbondale, Colo.

No local services are scheduled. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Lourine O. Malabo

Lourine O. Malabo, 91, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. She was born Jan. 12, 1912, in the Philippines. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by six sons, Robert Malabo of the Philippines, Rexford Malabo, Jesse Malabo, Owens Malabo and Henry Malabo, all of Nevada, and Dennis Malabo of California; one daughter, Oscie Malabo of Nevada; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Visitation and services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Sunday in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.

Charles J. Mastropietro

Charles J. Mastropietro, 88, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born April 20, 1915, in Connecticut. A resident for 13 years, he was a machinist in the aerospace industry.

He is survived by his wife, Florence; one son, Mark Mastropietro of Lancaster, Calif.; one son, Laura Blodgett of Las Vegas; and nine grandchildren.

American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling private arrangements.

Eugene Perales

Eugene Perales, 60, of Las Vegas died Sept. 7. He was born April 17, 1943.

Graveside services will be 9:20 .m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Juanita Jacomb Ritzema

Juanita Jacomb Ritzema, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 5, 1930, in Glendale, Calif. A resident for 36 years, she was a retired JCPenney's office manager and a member of several organizations affiliated with Los Prados women's organizations.

She is survived by her husband, Jack A.; two daughters, Vicki Jacomb Codebo and Lisa Jacomb McGuire, and one son, Jeffrey Jacomb, all of Las Vegas; three brothers, Bill Luce of Ferron, Utah, John Luce of Hulberg, Okla., and Roger Luce of Valencia, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Carmen Santore

Carmen Santore, 81, of Henderson died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born July 29, 1922, in Chicago. A resident for five years, he was a retired head dye cutter for an envelope manufacturer.

He is survived by one daughter, Sandy Walton; one stepdaughter, Jeanette Robertson; one stepson, Bob Gliosci; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Evelyn 'Kitty' Schutzbank

Evelyn "Kitty" Schutzbank, 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday. She was born Dec. 2, 1918, in Philadelphia. A resident for seven years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Rosalyn Harriett of Casa Grande, Ariz.; one son, Ted Schutzbank of San Antonio; one sister, Annette Small of Wildwood, N.J.; and three grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.

Lawrence C. Snauwaert

Lawrence C. Snauwaert, 78, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 27, 1925, in Moline, Ill. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired layout man for a power company, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred E.; two sons, Kenneth Snauwaert of Las Vegas and Dale Snauwaert of Toledo, Ohio; and one sister, Loraine Ragone of Chicago.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Palm Chapel, Jones. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

William Taylor

William Taylor, 46, of North Las Vegas died Sept. 12 in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 18, 1957, in Las Vegas.

Graveside services will be noon Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Charles Thomas Jr.

Charles Thomas Jr., 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 4, 1926, in Tennessee. A resident for 37 years, he was a special agent for the FBI and supervisor of the organized crime unit in Las Vegas and was a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Diana M.; two sons, Scott Thomas and Mark Thomas, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Ann Garmon of Tennessee; and two grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 8901 Del Webb Blvd. Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Howard Roland Wood

Howard Roland Wood, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 16, 1933, in Detroit. A resident for four years, he was a bus company dispatcher and an Army veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Saunders of San Antonio and Dorothy Jave of Anderson, Ind.; and one son, Robert Anthony Wood of Indiana.

Burial will be in Indianapolis. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
