Connie L. Anderson

Connie L. Anderson, 54, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born May 6, 1949, in Tucson. A resident for 20 years, she was a payroll supervisor.

She is survived by her husband, Robert J.; two daughters, Michelle Falline of Henderson and Anne Elliott of Las Vegas; her father, Wesley Morey Sr. of Catalina, Ariz.; one sister, Beverley Cooper of Florence, Ariz.; one brother, Wesley Morey Jr. of Tucson; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

The family suggests donations to the Victory Junction Gang, 311 Branson Mill Road, Randle, NC 27317.

Frieda C. Friedlan

Frieda C. Friedlan, 85, of Boulder City died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born March 10, 1918, in Elko. A resident for 40 years, she was a retired motor pool coordinator, and a member of the BPO Does 34 and Boulder City Women's Club.

She is survived by three sons, Norman C. Davies of Magna, Utah, Henry O. Davies of Taylorsville, Utah, and Robert F. Davies of Layton, Utah; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at noon Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Entombment will be at Palm's Mausoleum.

The family suggests donations to the Boulder City Does 34.

Barbra Ann Gray

Barbra Ann Gray, 44, died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 24, 1958, in California. A resident for three months, she was a nurse.

She is survived by her husband, Troy K.; two sons, Brian Gray of Idaho and Logan Gray of California; two daughters, Melissa Gray of Texas and Mariya Gray of Las Vegas; her mother, Emma Perkins; two brothers, Robert Dickerson of Idaho and Victor Carlton; and one grandchild.

Services will be private. Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive, is handling arrangements.

Robert Ward Johnson

Robert Ward Johnson, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born Jan. 9, 1928, in London, Ky. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired bartender and a member of the Eagles.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; two sons, Daniel E. Riley of Las Vegas and Jerry Johnson of Cincinnati; two daughters, Amy Boehmer of Las Vegas and Jamie Loquillano of Cincinnati; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern, followed by burial in Palm Valley View Mortuary.

A. Rosemary Moats

A. Rosemary Moats, 88, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 24, 1914, in Logansport, Pa.

She is survived by one brother, Harry Klingensmith of Las Vegas; and one sister, Bonnie Yancey of Anaheim, Calif.

Services will be held at 9:20 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Lillie Mae Moran

Lillie Mae Moran, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born April 16, 1928, in Mexia, Texas. A resident for 13 years, she was a consultant for a credit and marketing company.

She is survived by one daughter, Debra Thomas of Inglewood, Calif.; two sisters, Janie Ledoux and Eva May; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Advent United Methodist Church, 3460 N. Rancho Drive, followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Marion E. "Pete" Petri

Marion E. "Pete" Petri, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 13, 1925, in Woodford County, Ill. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired master electrician, World War II Navy veteran and avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy; three daughters, Charlene Marie Roy of Cleveland and Kathryne Jean Finch and Geraldine L. Petri, both of Las Vegas; four brothers, Eugene I. Petri, Norbert E. Petri, Joseph A. Petri, all of Minonk, Ill., and Virgil M. Petri of Arkansas; one sister, Mary Catherine Ford of Minonk; eight grandchildren; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Concepcion Castro Sanchez

Concepcion Castro Sanchez, 58, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born May 26, 1945, in El Salvador.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel; three sons, Thomas Castro, Ramon Sanchez and Juan Pablo Sanchez, all of Las Vegas; two daughters, Dolores Castro of El Salvador and AnnaMaria Castro of Las Vegas; one brother; four sisters; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Kingdom Hall-Jehovah's Witnesses, 1841 N. Walnut Ave.

Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Carl Lavier Taylor

Carl Lavier Taylor, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 12, 1937, in Mesa, Ariz. A resident for 14 years, he was a merchandiser in the food industry.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra L.; six sons, Michael R. Taylor of Pleasant Grove, Utah, Jeffory I. Taylor of Kaysville, Utah, Kevin L. Taylor of Greenwood, Mo., Alan B. Taylor of Layton, Utah, and Benjamin C. Taylor and David W. Taylor, both of Las Vegas; five daughters, Larae A. Merritt of West Jordan, Utah, and Robyn K. Taylor, Lea-Ann Custer, Kymber L. Foster and Alissa G. Wiser, all of Las Vegas; four brothers, Eugene, Robert, Don and Glenn; one sister, Ellen; and 22 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the LDS First Ward at Eight Street and Franklin Avenue. Burial will be in Arizona.

Julie A. Vivion

Julie A. Vivion, 44, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 18, 1959, in Niagara Falls, N.Y. A resident for 40 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Paul; two sons, Ross Vivion and Ryan Vivion, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Margaret Powell of Victorville, Calif.; one brother, Richard Incorvia of Cooperstown, Pa.; and one sister, Tracy Green of Tennessee.
