Letter: Let’s do more for homeless

I am writing out of concern for the homeless. With all the money in Nevada, why do homeless people have to be homeless? Why can't we take some land, build housing, or get mobile homes to put on the land. Then we can help these people get back on track.

When babies fall we pick them up and they start walking again. Why can't we do the same with homeless people? Let the county or state run this. Make sure every person gets checked out. We need to help, all of us do. Maybe we can solve the problem and we would feel better about society.

Don't let these people down. Because there for the grace of God go you or I.
