Roscoe Walden Bryant

Roscoe Walden Bryant of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born in Savannah, Ga. A resident for three years, he was an engineer for NASA's Planning Resource Center at the Kennedy Space Center, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the HOSTS of Brevard County.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie; one daughter, Denise R. Bryant of Las Vegas; and one sister, Geraldine Cyrus of Atlanta.

Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Francis 'Toad' Burns

Francis "Toad" Burns, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 3, 1924, in McClelland, Iowa. A resident for 26 years, he was a retired tax accountant, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, a member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Rena M.; and one sister, Margaret Shekleton of Minneapolis.

Visitation is scheduled 2-4 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 8:30 a.m. Monday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

The family suggests donations to the American Lung Association, 3375 Glen Ave., No. 7, Las Vegas, NV 89121.

Flo Clark

Flo Clark, 70, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born June 3, 1932, in Riverside, Calif. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired registered nurse.

She is survived by her husband, David L.; two sons, Michael D. Clark of Riverside and Stan Clark of Pasadena, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Family will have private services. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Elaine M. Combs

Elaine M. Combs, 72, of Henderson died Wednesday in Boulder City. She was born Aug. 3, 1930, in Boone, N.C. A resident for 33 years, she was a retired restaurant hostess and active with the Don Dawson Senior Center.

She is survived by one daughter, Betty Shapiro of Las Vegas; one son, Charles Combs of Henderson; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday in the Ocean Street LDS chapel, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Mark Charles Condo

Mark Charles Condo, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Reno. He was born Sept. 30, 1922, in Ludlow, Ky. A resident for 70 years, he was a self-employed mason and a World War II Army veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; two daughters, Susan Cook of Las Vegas and Deborah Diane Smith of Sparks; one son, Lyn Condo of New Mexico; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Service were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in the LDS chapel at Arville Street and Pennwood Avenue. Graveside services were scheduled at 1:20 p.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Augustine Cook

Augustine Cook, 85, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born Aug. 6, 1917, in Florida.

She is survived by one daughter, Catherine Cook of Michigan.

Rosemary A. Daniels

Rosemary A. Daniels, 70, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born Jan. 15, 1933, in the Bronx, N.Y. A resident for 28 years, she was a porter at Sam's Town.

She is survived by one son, Kevin Reichelt of Henderson; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.

Julia Danweber

Julia Danweber, 90, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born March 17, 1913, in Pennsylvania.

She is survived by one son, Carl T. Danweber of Las Vegas.

Clifton L. Davidson

Clifton L. Davidson, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born March 26, 1931, in Ector County, Texas. A resident for eight years, he was a retired automotive product engineer, a member of Desert Lake Country Club and Nellis Gun Club. He was a shooting instructor who has a student on the Olympic shooting team and in 1986 he won the World Live Bird Shooting Championship in Spain.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon I.; four sons, Brett Davidson of Las Vegas, Aaron Davidson of Santa Rosa, Calif., and William Burkholder and Marc Burkholder, both of Salt Lake City; four daughters, Desiree Temple of Logandale, Deana Fromm and Cheryl Hilton, both of Pahrump, and Carmie Carter of Salt Lake City; 28 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

William Douglas Grizzle

William Douglas Grizzle, 55, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A member of the Moose in Santa Monica, Calif., he was born June 6, 1947, in California.

He is survived by his wife, Anita; three sons, Brent Grizzle, Ward Grizzle and Jason Grizzle, and one daughter, Lisa Grizzle, all of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.

William Joe Hastings

William Joe Hastings, 66, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born April 17, 1936, in Missouri. A resident for 51 years, he was a blackjack dealer at the Frontier.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; one son, Andrew Hastings; two daughters, Stephani Reid and Sharon Lake; his wife, Linda Hastings; one sister, Betty Marshal; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North

Robert Henry Horton

Robert Henry Horton, 59, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 20, 1943, in Bangor, Maine. A resident for 15 years, he was a high-limit attendant at Treasure Island.

He is survived by his wife, Adelina; one son, David Horton of Leominster, Mass.; two daughters, Debra Roberts of Ashby, Mass., and Diane M. Horton of Las Vegas; his mother, Madeline Horton of Webster, Mass.; three sisters, Edith Daigle of Joansboro, Ga., Emma Thompson of Alexandria, Ohio, and Gladys Hjelm of Oxford, Mass.; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Sunday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will be in Massachusetts.

Virginia Lovato

Virginia Lovato, 57, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born Aug. 28, 1945, in California.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Lovato Jr.

Hugh Alton Loy

Hugh Alton Loy, 47, of North Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. An electronics technician, he was born July 11, 1955, in Baltimore.

He is survived by his wife, Dianna; one son, Jesse Loy of Las Vegas; and one sister, Valarie Roesing of Fort Mohave, Ariz.

Sheila Mullaney

Sheila Mullaney, 69, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 1, 1933, in Toronto. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired real estate broker.

She is survived by three daughters, Chandra Tait, Kelly-Ann Sheila Perez and Melanie Spence, all of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-noon Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Cappy Pangacian

Cappy Pangacian, 74, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born March 28, 1928, in Honolulu. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired Army staff sergeant and Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; two daughters, Charmaine Canite of Hawaii and Mary Sandobal of New Jersey; five sons, J.R. Pangacian of Texas, Patrick Pangacian of San Diego, Greg Pangaician and Wayne Pangacian, both of Hawaii, and William Boyd of Tampa, Fla.; two sisters, Mary Sandobal and Susan Sencio, both of Hawaii; one brother, Lino Cabral of Hilo, Hawaii; 19 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Nancy Jean O'Donnell Pearlman

Nancy Jean O'Donnell Pearlman, 56, of Las Vegas and California died March 20 in Magu Rock, Calif. She was born Oct. 29, 1946, in Boston. A resident for 51 years, she was a former stewardess for American Airlines, a medical office manager and a volunteer at Casa Pacifica Crisis Care Center for Children.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald; two stepsons, Bryan Pearlman and Adam Pearlman, both of California; her parents, Ruth and Alfred O'Donnell of Henderson; three brothers, retired state Sen. Bill O'Donnell, Dan O'Donnell and Tom O'Donnell, and one sister, Eileen Brown, all of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Victor D. Reed

Victor D. Reed, 85, of Las Vegas died March 20 in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 16, 1917, in Fremont, Ohio. A resident for 17 years, he retired as a mechanical engineer after 40 years, was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Masons.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; one son, Pete Reed of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Cele Rose

Cele Rose, 88, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. An artist, she was born March 17, 1915, in New York.

She is survived by one brother, Hubert Maskowitz of California.

Charles E. Sessions

Charles E. Sessions, 24, of Las Vegas died Tuesday. He was born Feb. 8, 1979, in Las Vegas. He was a motorcycle salesman and a member of the Clark County Fire Explorers program.

He is survived by his parents, Diane M. and Charles A. Sessions III, and his twin brother, Tim Sessions, all of Las Vegas; and one sister, Amber M. Sessions of Henderson.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday followed by services at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 5701 N. Jones Blvd. Arrangements handled by Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Harold James Sullivan Jr.

Harold James Sullivan Jr., of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A resident for 20 years, he was a dry cleaning presser.

He is survived by two sons, Harold Sullivan III and Darryl Sullivan; one daughter, Dana Sullivan; one brother, Frank Blanks; three sisters, Carolyn Sullivan Reedom, Edith Sullivan and Ethel Leathers; and 20 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, 1920 Martin L. King Blvd. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North handled arrangements.

John J. Tackaberry

John J. Tackaberry, 72, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 24, 1931, in St. Louis. A resident for six years, he was a retired elementary and high school teacher.

He is survived by his wife, Jessie; one daughter, Gail Tackaberry of Las Vegas; two brothers, Bill Tackaberry of Loveland, Colo., and Gene Tackaberry of St. Louis.

Janice E. Thompson

Janice E. Thompson, 58, of Las Vegas died March 14 in Las Vegas. She was born March 7, 1945, in Wisconsin. A resident for seven years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Tina I. Thompson; two brothers, Robert and Gordon; and four sisters, Elaine, Carol, Marise and Delores.

Iti M. Tuinei

Iti M. Tuinei, 91, of North Las Vegas died March 10 in North Las Vegas. She was born May 9, 1911, in Leone, American Samoa. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by five sons, John V. Tuinei, Talitiga K.P. Tuinei, Sialitiu Sam Tuinei and Nu'utamaliia D.M. Tuinei Jr., all of Las Vegas, and Ta'atofa M. Tuinei of American Samoa; five daughters, Vaovai Tuinei Levi of San Francisco, Uluaipou Fa'atali of Las Vegas, Alafale M. Tanielu, Uluaipouomalo Tuinei and Iiiganoa Vainuu Toeaina, all of American Samoa; 80 grandchildren; 93 great-grandchildren; and 31 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1-4 p.m. Saturday, noon-4 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m.-noon Monday at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
