NEVADA DIVISION OF WILDLIFE
Cottonwood Cove anglers reported that their success rate increased from the previous week at Lake Mohave.
An angler using an AC Plug landed a 31 1/2-pound striper. Anglers using anchovies as bait were successful landing stripers that ranged from 2-5 pounds.
Willow Beach anglers continued to have good success for striped bass. One angler using an O' Henry lure landed a 30 pound, 8 ounce striper. Another angler using an AC Plug caught a 24 pound, 5 ounce striper. Both anglers reported the fish were in shallow water.
Only three rainbow trout were creeled in this area. They all measured 12 inches.
NDOW stocked Willow Beach on Thursday. This was the last stocking of the season.
The Nevada Division of Wildlife (NDOW) will stock Hemenway Cove, Pumphouse Cove (B5), North Saddle Cove (B3 and B5), and Horsepower Cove today. This will be the last Lake Mead stocking of the season.
