Centennial 11, Southridge (Ore.) 1 (5 inn.): Brian Simpson drove in three runs and Wyatt Morency knocked in two as the Bulldogs rolled. Andy Primas scattered six hits for the complete-game win.
Sierra Vista 2, Basic 1: Mike Seerup's tie-breaking, seventh-inning doubled plated Scott Burke with the winning run as the Lions scratched out the victory.
Other scores: Cheyenne 13, Skyview (Colo.) 1
Boys' Volleyball
Silverado def. Durango, 25-21, 25-18, 26-24: Lewis Miranda recorded 19 assists and Dave Peterson had nine kills to lead the Skywhawks. Brad Royal added five kills. For Durango, Kris Stinnett totaled 12 kills and Todd LaMasters had six kills and six digs.
Las Vegas def. Sierra Vista, 25-20, 25-16, 25-27, 25-14: Devin Busby's 11 kills and seven blocks paced the Wildcats to the win. Jayson Gifford recorded 26 assists and seven kills for Las Vegas. The Lions were led by 10 kills from Brandon Harris and 24 assists from Jared Walker.
