A 17-member panel of Nevada tourism leaders will meet Monday to discuss the potential effects a war with Iraq and domestic terrorism would have on the state's top industry.
The Tourism Stability Panel, which includes representatives of the resort, gaming, convention, airport and travel industries from across the state, will meet in Carson City.
The panel was formed by Lt. Gov. Lorraine Hunt following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and is being reactivated and enlarged to advise the state Commission on Tourism, which Hunt chairs.
