Deadline nears for voter registration for city election

Residents of Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Boulder City and Mesquite have until Saturday to register to vote in the primary elections.
Saturday is also the deadline to make address changes to existing voter registrations.
The Clark County Election Department and city clerk offices in Henderson, Las Vegas and North Las Vegas will be open until 9 p.m. daily through Saturday to register new voters and accept voter registration changes.
The Boulder City and Mesquite city clerk offices will be open until 9 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday to register new voters and accept changes.
Residents who are already registered to vote in county and national elections are automatically registered in their cities.
Voters can check their registration status online (www.accessclarkcounty.com/election).
The cities' primary elections are April 8, with early voting from March 22 to April 4 in all of the cities except North Las Vegas, which has early voting from March 19 to April 4.
