Valley weather expected to cool off this week

It won't be noticeable today, but Wednesday through Friday Las Vegas Valley residents and visitors may see a cooling trend.
After a high of 105 degrees Sunday, temperatures in the 90s may seem cooler, National Weather Service meteorologist Clay Morgan said.
"It's going to be a gradual cooling trend ... Break out the sweaters," Morgan joked late Sunday.
The clouds sweeping across Southern Nevada skies on Sunday didn't produce a rain in the valley, but a thunderstorm rattled Tonopah about 150 miles north of Las Vegas, according to the weather service.
Skies cleared Sunday night over Las Vegas and are expected to remain mostly sunny with occasional clouds through midweek, when the clouds are expected to clear and temperatures are expected to be in the 90s, forecasters said.
