Nuclear testing archive to move
Monday, June 9, 2003 | 8:31 a.m.
The National Nuclear Security Administration's nuclear testing archive will be moved to a new location starting today.
The nuclear testing archive is a collection of historical documents, records and data dealing with the U.S. nuclear weapons testing program. More than 1,000 nuclear weapons tests were conducted at the Nevada Test Site, 65 miles northwest of Las Vegas, from 1951 until 1992.
Information will be available on computer during the move to 755 E. Flamingo Road, but requests for paper documents will be delayed until the move is complete.
