North Las Vegas will conduct a block-by-block inspection of the Federal Park neighborhood as part of the Pride Inside Community Enhancement Project.
The inspection, beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday, follows an open meeting Thursday that introduced local residents to the project, which is designed to open lines of communication between neighbors and city department officials, Southern Nevada utility representatives and Clark County officials.
The Federal Park Neighborhood is bordered by Interstate 15, Carey Avenue, Donna Street and Lake Mead Boulevard.
The team of officials will focus on improving area neighborhoods to provide a better quality of life for the neighborhood's residents.
At the meeting residents will be able to meet with team members, view presentations and have a question and answer session.
Some improvements could include landscape maintenance, street light and street sign repair and the pick-up of abandoned vehicles.
