Bill Bair

Bill Bair, 66, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born July 5, 1937, in Philadelphia. A resident for 16 years, he was a hotel-casino security officer and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Dee; one stepson, John Boyle of Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Jackie Edwardi, and one sister, Gwyn Brown, both of New Jersey.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Tommy L. Bass

Tommy L. Bass, 59, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 2, 1943, in Louisiana. A resident for 38 years, he was a hotel cook.

He is survived by his wife, Linda of Phoenix; six daughters, Pat Trimble, Angie Trimble, Carla Trimble, Ashley Bass and Chastity Bass, all of Las Vegas and Shy Bass of Phoenix; two sons, Greg Bass and Ceddrick Bass, both of Las Vegas; four brothers, Samuel Bass of California and Thomas Bass, Melvin Bass and Robert Bass, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Dorothy Green of Las Vegas and Geneva Bass and Pearlie Bass, both of Louisiana; and 16 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Sunday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in New Revelation Missionary Baptist Church, 615 W. Van Buren Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Norma Bosted

Norma Bosted, 74, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born May 5, 1929, in New Orleans. A resident for 43 years, she was a retired health club janitor.

She is survived by eight daughters, Carol Holt of Colorado, Brenda Budua, Theresa Howard, Karen Howard and Helen Bosted, all of Nevada, Andrea Rueff of Texas, Diane Pantaza of Washington state and Mary Chandler of California; one son, Dale Hoinoski of Missouri; her mother, Laurice Merrill of California; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was 10 a.m. today in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., handled arrangements.

Claire Christian

Claire Christian, 47, of Alamo died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 14, 1955, in Rifle, Colo. A resident for 26 years, she was a retired teacher.

She is survived by her husband, Lee; one son, Clay Christian of Alamo; her mother, Phyllis George of Grand Junction, Colo.; one sister, Cindy; and one brother, Steve.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-noon Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Alamo LDS Church. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

William Copeland

William Copeland, 49, of Las Vegas died Sunday. He was born June 25, 1954.

Marguerite L. DeLong

Marguerite L. DeLong, 35, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born March 18, 1968, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a university professor at Arizona State, Western Samoa and BYU-Hawaii, earned a certification for editing and publishing from the Smithsonian Institute, a certification for technical and creative writing with the Spina Bifida Association in Salt Lake City, a masters in teaching English as a second language from Arizona State, a baccalaureate and associate arts degree in communications at BYU-Hawaii, studied at the Jerusalem Center in Israel, served a mission at the California Los Angeles Mission and the Salt Lake City Spanish Speaking Mission.

She is survived by her parents, Angie and Chase DeLong, and one sister, Mary Stapley, all of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Lynn DeLong of Highland Heights, Ohio, and Chip DeLong of Waikaloa, Hawaii.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Monday in the LDS Church, 5160 W. Lone Mountain Road. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.

The family suggests donations to the Spina Bifida Association or the missionary program of the LDS Church.

Jon Dudlo

Jon Dudlo, 62, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 26, 1941, in Middleton, N.Y. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired body shop foreman.

He is survived by his wife, Toni; five daughters, Paula McHale, Robin Barton, Tammy Steele, Carol Ford and Nichole Davis; one godson, Joe Tesoro; six grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 6:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Carma La Faun Flowers

Carma La Faun Flowers, 57, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 26, 1945, in Kentucky. A resident for four years, she was a retail sales manager.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald; four sons, Victor J. Flowers, Christopher Lawson, Gregory Lawson and Billy Lawson; two brothers, Hagas Pennington and Larry Pennington; two sisters, Janis Tackett and DeAnna McGranahan; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Calvary Chapel, 7175 W. Oquendo Road. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Beverly Hraha

Beverly Hraha, 67, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in North Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 7, 1935, in Chicago. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Andrew; one daughter, Linda Langholz of Grand Rapids, Mich.; two sons, Kurt Hraha of Bartlett, Ill., and Andrew Hraha of Maui, Hawaii; one sister, Barbara Jean Voorhees of Marengo, Ill.; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3 p.m. until a 6 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Paul Dye Irvin

Paul Dye Irvin, 75, of Las Vegas died June 20 in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 30, 1927, in West Virginia. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired casino cashier and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by three sons, Paul Jr., Douglas and Terence; his companion, Gloria; one brother, Joseph F.; five sisters, Lynda, Harriette, Mary, Nancy and Sally; and numerous grandchildren.

Joshua G. Locascio

Joshua G. Locascio, 23, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Aug. 3, 1979, in Santa Barbara, Calif. A resident for six years, he was a college student.

He is survived by his parents, Bob and Pam Locascio, and one sister, Teresa Locascio, all of Henderson; and his grandparents, Gwen and Don Martin of Eugene, Ore., and Dick and Annie Coffee of Mobile, Ala.

A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Fay Eisenstadt Mandel

Fay Eisenstadt Mandel, 67, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. She was born Sept. 20, 1935, in Poland. A resident for 17 years, she was a homemaker and a member of B'Nai B'Rith Women of Chicago.

She is survived by her husband, Donald; two sons, Harold Mandel of Chicago and Leonard Mandel of Round Lake, Ill.; one daughter, Sharon Klekot of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one brother, Sam Eisenstadt of Henderson; and three grandchildren.

Graveside services were 9:20 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, is handling arrangements.

Gilbert Leonard

Gilbert Leonard Michaud, 59, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. A handyman, he was born Dec. 16, 1943, in Massachusetts.

He is survived by one sister, Sandra Boutin of Manchester, N.H.

Services are pending. Burial will be in New Hampshire. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Terry L. Nelson

Terry L. Nelson, 23, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born July 12, 1979, in Pennsylvania. A resident for one year, he was a roofer in the construction industry.

He is survived by his parents, Craig A. and Peggy J. Nelson of Las Vegas; and his grandfather, Richard Nelson of Topock, Ariz.

Roger Lewis White

Roger Lewis White, 55, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 16, 1947, in Nevada. A resident for 55 years, he was a shift boss for a local casino.

He is survived by one son, Brandon White; one daughter, Courtney; his mother, Patricia White; and one grandchild.

Woodrow Widner

Woodrow Widner, 85, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born May 25, 1918, in Illinois. A resident for one year, he owned and operated a landscaping company and was a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Joan E. Westphall; his twin sister, Mary Widner; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
