Edward J. Hannifin
Edward J. Hannifin, 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born April 29, 1923, in Butte, Mont. A resident for 50 years, he was a retired dealer and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by three daughters, Shan Stucki of Liberty, Kan., and Barbara Huberman and Bonnie Hannifin, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Edward J. Hannifin Jr. of Phoenix and Michael R. Hannifin of Copperopolis, Calif.; one sister, Mary Hannifin of Butte; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Hans John Hoeppner
Hans John Hoeppner, 83, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born July 19, 1919, in Dell Rapids, S.D. A resident for nine years, he retired as a U.S. Postal Service carrier of 30 years and was a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores; three daughters, Judy Lynn Abbott of San Jose, Calif., Cheryl Leigh Bowen of Placentia, Calif., and Gayla Jeanne Onofre of Henderson; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Tuesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Doris L. Stufflebam
Doris L. Stufflebam, 95, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 19, 1907, in Collins, Mo. A resident for four years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Dr. Laura Birholtz of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
H. Dale Summers
H. Dale Summers, 55, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 27, 1947, in Orange, Calif. A resident for two years, he was an automobile mechanic and a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; three daughters, Tania Summers of Honolulu and Tina Summers and Darci Summers, both of San Diego; and one sister, Vicki Rodgers of Anderson, Calif.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
John H. Tramble Jr.
John H. Tramble Jr., 67, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 21, 1935, in Texarkana, Ark. A resident for three years, he was a security officer and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Iola; four sons, Terry Tramble of Las Vegas, Gary Tramble, John Everett Tramble and Douglas Carlton Dixon; three daughters, Marquette Dixon, Sherrie Dixon and Virginia Dyles; one sister, Willie Mae Scoggins; one brother, Kenny Tramble; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Jeanne Louise Voshel
Jeanne Louise Voshel, 54, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born April 21, 1948, in Canton, Ohio. A resident for 24 years, she was a supervising pit clerk at the Stardust for 17 years.
She is survived by her husband, Gary; two daughters, Shawn Sickles and Heather Blackwell, and one son, Jeffery Voshel, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Sharyn Hackney of Ravenna, Ohio, and Penny Murphy of Henderson; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Raymond Wasilewski
Raymond Wasilewski, 83, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 19, 1919, in Chicago. A resident for eight years, he was a retired engineer for a sewer department and a member of Engineering Local 150 in Chicago.
He is survived by his wife, Emily; two daughters, Mary Kozlowski and Darlene Garland, and two sons, Mickey Wasilewski and Steven Wasilewski, all of Chicago; three stepsons, Paul Meeters and Steven Meeters, both of Chicago, and John Meeters of Las Vegas; 20 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was scheduled at 1 p.m. today in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.
