Bob B. Boyd

Bob B. Boyd, 70, of Henderson died Saturday in a local health care center. He was born May 20, 1933, in Las Cruces, N.M. A resident for 2 1/2 years, he was a retired Marine captain and pilot and Korean War Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Marianne; two sons, Mark Levering of Henderson and Jeff Boyd of Seattle; two daughters, Judy Vieira of San Diego and Shelly Neville of Edmonds, Wash.; and five grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Gertrude Brenan

Gertrude Brenan, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 20, 1940, in Ireland. A resident for 28 years, she was a registered nurse.

She is survived by two sons, Patrick Brenan and John Brenan; two brothers, Jim Salter and Oliver Salter, both of Ireland; and two grandchildren.

A memorial vigil will be 5 p.m. Thursday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday in Christ the King Catholic Church. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Margaret Campbell

Margaret Campbell, 86, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 11, 1916, in St. Charles, Mo. A resident for 38 years, she was a retired dealer.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Campbell of North Las Vegas and Mickey Campbell of Las Vegas; one daughter, Julia Rapolla of Hayward, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Jill A. Carroll

Jill A. Carroll, 51, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born June 2, 1952, in Flint, Mich. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Rocky; four sons, Dennis Carroll, Ronald Carroll and Justin Amerson, all of Las Vegas, and Jason Amerson of Tampa, Fla.; one daughter, Holly Nicole Carroll of Atlanta; her mother, Trudy Williams of Pahrump; one sister, Sharon Geurin of Las Vegas; three brothers, Michael Geurin of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Brian Geurin and Lonnie Geurin, both of Bradenton, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until a 3 p.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Henry J. Costa III

Henry J. Costa III, 52, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born April 20, 1951, in Rhode Island. A resident for five years, he was a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Jennie; one son, Joey Carrasco; two daughters, Renee Leon and Michelle Bayley; his mother and stepfather, Geraldine and David Ludwick; two sisters, Priscilla Nurse and Nancy Costa; and six grandchildren.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.

Alecia Dame

Alecia Dame, 60, of Boulder City died Sunday in Boulder City. A bookkeeper, she was born May 29, 1943.

She is survived by her husband, Richard.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Utah. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Irma A. Daugherty

Irma A. Daugherty, 86, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 3, 1917, in Oklahoma. A resident for 43 years, she was a homemaker, past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the National Power Engineers Association and a member of the Civil Air Patrol cadet program.

She is survived by her husband, John; two sons, James Lee Daugherty of Las Vegas and John Bernard Daugherty of Germany; two daughters, Irma Mae Hurst and Patricia Louise Norris, both of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Anne Catholic Church, 1901 S. Maryland Parkway. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Eva L. Jones

Eva L. Jones, 78, of Las Vegas died Nov. 23 in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 12, 1925, in Ottawa, Kan. A resident for 41 years, she was a retired casino worker.

She is survived by one son, Gary Jones of Las Vegas; one daughter, Leota Phillips of Sebring, Fla.; one brother, Rex Kirkland of Ottawa; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Miriam Esther Kern

Miriam Esther Kern, 67, of Las Vegas died Nov. 9 in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 3, 1935, in New York. A resident for 34 years, she was a dispatcher for an automotive dealer.

She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Gannon of Las Vegas and Janis Sizemore; one sister, Paula Gabay; and two grandchildren.

Bernice 'Bunny' Klafter

Bernice "Bunny" Klafter, 88, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 5, 1915, in Chicago. A resident for 17 years, she was a retired hospital bookkeeper and a member of B'nai B'rith.

She is survived by one daughter, Andrea Klafter-Phillips of Henderson; two sons, Cary Klafter of San Francisco and Bruce Klafter of San Mateo, Calif.; one brother, Bob Maremont of Northbrook, Ill.; and 10 grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 3 p.m. today in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.

Charles D. Nash

Charles D. Nash, 74, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 5, 1929, in Arizona. A resident for 45 years, he was a master craftsman and an Army veteran.

He is survived by six sons, Gary Anderson, Earl Nash, Loyd Nash, Jimmy Nash, Bruce Nash and Randy Collins; four daughters, Mikki Work, Renee Shanahan, Lora Bryom and Rhonda Thompson; two brothers, Norman Nash and Kent Nash; one sister, Peg Bowcut; 22 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Donald L. Reamer

Donald L. Reamer, 73, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 8, 1930, in Minneapolis. A resident for 36 years, he was a retired casino shift manager and a Navy and Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Jacki; one son, Donald Reamer of Fort Myers, Fla.; three daughters, Sharon Justham of Fort Myers and Tamara Bradley and Lisa Lacy, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Stewart Reamer and Robert Reamer, both of Minneapolis; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 12:40 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Joseph P. 'Hollywood Joe' Tremblay

Joseph P. "Hollywood Joe" Tremblay, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 13, 1933, in Detroit. A resident for 12 years, he worked in the motion picture industry and was a member of the Teamsters Union for 33 years.

He is survived by three brothers, George Tremblay, Gerard Tremblay and Marcel Tremblay.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Dec. 18 in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Karl A. Wynkoop

Karl A. Wynkoop, 45, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 8, 1957, in Lawrence, Kan. A resident for 34 years, he was a musician.

He is survived by his father, John Wynkoop of Wichita, Kan.; his mother, Connie High Wynkoop of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Paul Wynkoop of Las Vegas and Eric Wynkoop of Kansas City, Mo.

Visitation is scheduled 1-5 p.m. Tuesday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service.
