Best West Limited Partnership, a part of The Molasky Group of Cos., has sold its Best in the West Power Center shopping center in Las Vegas for $65 million to Desert Troon, a Phoenix-based real estate company.
The 475,000-square-foot power center is at U.S. 95/Rainbow Boulevard and Lake Mead Boulevard in the northwest part of Las Vegas. Among the property's 30 tenants are Best Buy, Offices Depot, Babies "R" Us, Old Navy, Organized Living, Borders Books and Petsmart.
The sale of the center was a strategic move for the Molasky Group, company officials said.
"It is now time for The Molasky Cos. to move on to new projects in the valley," said Richard Worthington, president of the company. The Molasky Cos. is developing the four-story IRS building in downtown Las Vegas, luxury apartments and a private air terminal at McCarran International Airport.
