Slot manufacturer International Game Technology has received licensing rights to "The Dating Game" and "The Newlywed Game" to create game designs.
The company will draw from "the wealth of classic audio and video available" to create the machines, IGT vice president of game design Joe Kaminkow said.
Game show producer Chuck Barris created both shows in the mid-'60s. "The Dating Game" debuted in late 1965 and "The Newlywed Game" began in 1966.
Slot machines based on the shows will be unveiled at the Global Gaming Expo Sept. 16 through Sept. 18 in Las Vegas. The company hasn't yet determined when to introduce the games in casinos.
