The state Board of Examiners on Tuesday approved plans by the welfare division to open a new office on East Flamingo Road in Las Vegas.
The division will lease the property from the Vista Group for 10 years starting at $1.19 per square foot and increasing to $1.55 per square foot in the final year of the lease at 3330 E. Flamingo.
The 2003 Legislature authorized the division to open a new office in Las Vegas and appropriated money for the staff.
