Letter: Free thinkers deserve voice in free America
Wednesday, April 9, 2003 | 9:02 a.m.
What about us free thinkers here in the United States?
People who don't believe that we have to agree with this regime and their aggression towards the rest of the world. People who believe in peace, people who don't believe in bombing other countries for various reasons. People who want to see their president wearing a suit and tie instead of a military Ike jacket.
Are we supposed to just keep quiet and not rock the war machine lest we be regarded as unpatriotic? Wasn't our ability to speak out the reason this country was founded? Aren't those freedoms what our country is all about?
