Class: Junior
Sport: Football
Currently: The 6-foot-3, 225-pound Seigler has started 25 straight games at middle linebacker for the Beavers over his three seasons at the school. The former Cowboy entered 2002 with 165 career tackles and has picked up where he left off, racking up 20 tackles in wins over Eastern Kentucky and Temple. Seigler was an honorable mention all-Pac 10 selection last season and his 10 tackle-per-game average ranks second in the conference this year. The Beavers host UNLV on Saturday.
Looking back: A two-way starter for Chaparral throughout his high school career, Seigler earned a spot on the Sun's all-state first team as both receiver and linebacker as a senior in 1998. He finished his final campaign with 704 yards and seven touchdowns on 44 catches along with 103 tackles (63 solo) and was honored as the coaches' Sunrise Defensive Player of the Year.
