Letter: We can’t afford senior drug plan

Politicians are racing to buy the votes of seniors with a "prescription drug plan" -- vying to see who can deliver the most freebies! The least costly plan so far is $350 billion over 10 years.
America is $6 trillion in debt -- no time to add a big sure-to-grow "entitlement" on the back of taxpayers. And nowhere does the constitution authorize such federal spending.
