Woman killed in rollover
Monday, Oct. 7, 2002 | 9:49 a.m.
One woman was killed and another was left in critical condition in a one-car rollover on Hualapai Way near Paradise Canyon Way, Metro Police said.
A 1995 Chevrolet was northbound on Hualapai about 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Metro Detective William Redfairn said.
Witnesses told police the vehicle was traveling at a high speed when the driver lost control and left the road. The car rolled several times, officers said. Neither woman was wearing a seat belt, and both were ejected.
The identities of the women were unknown this morning. There was no identification in the vehicle, police said.
Anyone with information on the accident is asked to call Secret Witness at 385-5555 or Detective Redfairn at 229-3128.
