Saturday fund-raiser to help middle schools

A fund-raiser to help resuscitate the Clark County School District middle school basketball program will be held from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at R.C. Willey Home Furnishings off Interstate 215 in Henderson.
Due to budget cuts, the school district eliminated the middle school sports programs in May. Parents and others are trying to raise $350,000 that would enable the district to reinstate the basketball and related programs.
R.C. Willey is donating a home entertainment package worth $7,300 to kick off a raffle.
