Applicants awaited interviews at the Cannery Casino Resorts' employment center Tuesday.
The local gaming company is seeking employees to fill jobs at its new property on Craig and Losee roads in North Las Vegas.
The Cannery hotel-casino will have 200 rooms, a 50,000-square-foot casino, five restaurants and a sportsbook. The casino is expected to open in January 2003.
The property is being built around a '40s industrial-era theme.
