Thurston, Crosby lead 51s over the Sky Sox

Joe Thurston drove in two runs and Bubba Crosby hit a home run as the Las Vegas 51s scored a 6-3 PCL victory over the Colorado Springs Sky Sox 6-3 on Sunday.
Crosby, a second baseman, was 2-for-4 while first baseman Chin-Feng Chen was 2-for-5 with an RBI in the fifth. The 51s improved to 44-34.
Third baseman Cliff Brumbaugh hit a solo home run in the fifth for Colorado Springs (34-44), while center fielder John Barnes was 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Shane Nance (10-2) earned the win, allowing one hit, one run and striking out five in three innings.
