Class on depression scheduled Wednesday
Barbara Greenspun WomensCare Center of Excellence, 100 N. Green Valley Parkway, Suite No. 330, will host a class on the causes and treatments of depression at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Dr. Ricardo Fontillas will talk about the chemical changes in the brain that cause depression, and discuss the symptoms, such as changes in sleep and eating patterns, loss of interest in pleasurable activities, and treatments such as behavioral and psychological and therapy and medications.

"Yucca Mountain Nuclear Repository: Good or Bad for Nevada?"
will be the topic of a general membership luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Texas Station. The speakers include former Gov. Robert List and Citizen Alert's Peggy Maze Johnson.
