UNLV golfer Ryan Moore carded a 76 during Thursday's opening round.
Moore, the only area golfer who qualifed for the the U.S. Open, had one birdie, two bogeys, a double bogey and a triple bogey on the afternoon. He hit 9 of 16 fairways and just 10 of 18 greens in regulation.
Moore recently finished sixth for the Rebels at the NCAA Championships.
