Deadline nears for filing claims

State Insurance Commissioner Alice Molasky-Arman has reminded Holocaust survivors and heirs who live in Nevada that Feb. 15 is the deadline to file claims with the International Commission on Holocaust Era Insurance Claims.

Molasky-Arman encouraged those who believe they are entitled to benefits from a Holocaust-era insurance policy to submit their claims before the deadline.

Claim forms may be obtained by calling the international commission toll-free at (800) 957 3203 or by visiting the commission's website (www.icheic.org). As of Dec. 7, Molasky-Arman said 73 claims have been submitted from Nevada out of a total of 20,116.
