Linda Frohlich signs with Italian pro team

Former Lady Rebel and current WNBA player Linda Frohlich has signed a one-year contract with Team Rovereto, an Italian women's professional basketball team in Europe.

Frohlich will play for the Italians from Sept. 20-May 1, while also taking time to train with the German national team on Nov. 15-30. She will compete against the best women's professional basketball players in the world and is one of few WNBA rookies to be signed to a top European team in the off-season.

Current WNBA stars Edna Campbell (Sacramento Monarchs) and Becky Hammon (New York Liberty) formerly played with Rovereto.
