Teresita T. Catus

Teresita T. Catus, 51, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 6, 1951, in the Phillipines. A resident for 11 years, she was a self-employed cook.

She is survived by her husband, Danilo; one son, Dennis Catus; one daughter, Romina Catus; five brothers, Jose Tiongson, Rolando Tiongson, Froilan Tiongson, Danilo Tiongson and Antonio Tiongson; three sisters, Carmelita Tiongson, Corazon Velasco and Herminia Domingo; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled until a 5 p.m. service today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Edward Thomas 'Doc' Evans III

Edward Thomas "Doc" Evans III, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 20, 1929, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 15 years, he was a truck driver and mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Warburton Evans; one daughter, Mary E. French of Pennsylvania; four sons, Edward T. Evans IV of Georgia, Larry Evans and James Evans, both of Pennsylvania, and Charles A. Evans of Arizona; three daughters, Jaime Zovi, Lisa Key and Susan Gwynn, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Stuart Evans of Pennsylvania; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary. Burial will be private.

Kathy M. 'Gay' Fineberg

Kathy M. "Gay" Fineberg, 38, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born July 14, 1964, in Okinawa, Japan. A resident for 12 years, she was a casino booth cashier.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce J.; one son, Jesse Fineberg, and her parents, John and Yoshi Gay, all of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Dorothy Sims of Las Vegas and Patricia Blagg of England.

Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Willa M. Fry

Willa M. Fry, 69, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 27, 1932, in Ashland, Okla. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired electrical technician for an aircraft manufacturer.

She is survived by one daughter, Denise Jensen of Henderson; two sons, Roger Fry of Henderson and Gary Fry of Delta, Colo.; one sister, June Ferguson of Emmitt, Idaho; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Helen E. Fuhrman

Helen E. Fuhrman, 90, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 13, 1911, in Chicago. A resident for 22 years, she was the owner/operator of a manufacturing company.

She is survived by one son, Arthur Roehl of Las Vegas; one daughter, Patricia Hitch of Simi Valley, Calif.; one brother, John Tesmer of Tampa, Fla.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Private arrangements are being handled by Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd.

Jay Paul Harvey

Jay Paul Harvey, 65, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 9, 1936, in Seattle. A resident for 38 years, he was a retired service station owner.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann; three daughters, Barbara Ann Jolley, Patricia Beck and Cindy Mitchell, all of Las Vegas; one son, Ricky Paul of Searchlight; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9-9:30 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will follow at 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 5701 N. Jones Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Guadalupe 'Lupe' Hernandez

Guadalupe "Lupe" Hernandez, 58, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 19, 1943, in Corpus Christi, Texas. A resident for nine years, he was a retired Air Force chief master sergeant.

He is survived by four sons, Richard Hernandez, Ronald Hernandez and Robert Hernandez, all of Panama City Beach, Fla., and Raymond Hernandez of Henderson; his mother, Tomasa Hernandez of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Ernest Hernandez of Corpus Christi and Joey Hernandez of Austin, Texas; four sisters, Delia Gomez and Margaret Sanchez, both of Corpus Christi, Tomasita Hernandez of Carthage, Mo., and Rosie Perez of San Antonio; and nine grandchildren.

Services and burial will be in Florida. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Rosemary L. Hiebel

Rosemary L. Hiebel, 67, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. She was born April 14, 1935, in Stockbridge, Wis. A resident for eight years, she was a retired bakery quality controller.

She is survived by her husband, LeRoy; one son, Kurt Hiebel of Atlanta; two sisters, Dorothy Ann Funke of Las Vegas and Marie Miller of Neenah, Wis.; and two brothers, Gordon Schnur of Campbell, Calif., and Walter Schnur of Sheboygan Falls, Wis.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 12:40 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

June Hop

June Hop, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 16, 1923, in Kankakee, Ill. A resident for 57 years, she was a retired Clark County School District French teacher.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Harry; two sons, David Hop of Orinda, Calif. and Tim Hop of Las Vegas; three daughters, Pat Mardirosian of Ben Lomond, Calif., Dale Winters of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Laura Sewall of Livermore, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 6151 W. Charleston Blvd. Arrangements are being handled by Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North

Charles Kirkpatrick Jr.

Charles Kirkpatrick Jr., 46, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born June 17, 1956, in Inglewood, Calif. A resident for eight years, he was a carpenter, a Vietnam War Navy veteran and a member of Carpenters Local 1977.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Arlene and Dale McCannon of Las Vegas; and his grandfather, James Kelly of Los Angeles.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Norman Latham

Norman Latham, 90, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 24, 1911, in Colorado. A resident for one year, he was a retired head tool keeper for a shipbuilder.

He is survived by two daughters, Jackie Brennan and Maxine Brewer-Piffner, both of Las Vegas; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Dallas Rufus Mastin

Dallas Rufus Mastin, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. He was born Nov. 11, 1929, in Flint, Mich. A resident for six years, he was a retired truck driver and a World War II Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Tony Kravitz and Dallas Murry Mastin; one daughter, Yolanda Liberato; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

John Wayne Masteller

John Wayne Masteller, 56, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 18, 1945, in California. A resident for 30 years, he was a bartender and bar back and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his companion of 30 years, Arletta Ragland; his mother, Jane Masteller; and one sister, Mary Ellen Nichols.

George M. McKissick

George M. McKissick, 76, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born June 15, 1926, in Butler, Mo. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired welder in the plumbing industry, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Melody; two sisters, Mary Katherine Kinkel of Eugene, Ore., and Elizabeth Jane Transue of San Diego; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Graveside services will follow at noon Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Esteban Montiel

Esteban Montiel, 62, of Las Vegas died June 29 in Las Vegas. He was born June 18, 1940, in Las Vegas.

Graveside services were scheduled today in Woodlawn Cemetery. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.

DuJuantre LeeDell Morris

DuJuantre LeeDell Morris, 23, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born July 8, 1979, in Las Vegas. He was a waiter.

He is survived by his mother, Lisa Ann Cromwell, his father, LeeDell Guy, his brother, Aquantre Maurice Morris, and her grandmother, Inez Morris-Everfield, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today and 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in True Love Missionary Baptist Church, 1941 N. H St. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Bella A. Nario

Bella A. Nario, 56, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 23, 1946, in Mandaluyong, Philippines. A resident for three years, she was a hotel housekeeper.

She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Nario of San Pablo, Calif.; three sons, Bernie Nario, Arturo Nario and Jesus Nario, and her mother, Gloria Alcayde, all of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled from 1 p.m. until a 6 p.m. service today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Wilson & Kratzer Mortuary, 13644 San Pablo Ave., San Pablo, CA 94803, also handled arrangements.

Mark M. Rhoades

Mark M. Rhoades, 43, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. He was born June 16, 1959, in California. A resident for 20 years, he was a window treatment installer.

He is survived by his wife, Collette; four sons, Nicolas Rhoades, Tyler Rhoades, Ryan Rhoades and Aaron Rhoades, and one daughter, Madison Rhoades, all of North Las Vegas; one brother, Kevin Rhoades of California; two sisters, Veree McCall of Idaho and Jeanette De Vales of California.

Visitation and services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive. Burial will be private.
