SAFE House to host program
SAFE House of Henderson, a domestic violence organization, presents "An Evening of Peace," an awards dinner and silent auction at 6 p.m. Saturday at Reflection Bay Golf Club at Lake Las Vegas Resort.
Music will be provided by Midnight Affair. Admission is $65. Call 451-4203.
Benefit concert planned Saturday
Tiger Jam V benefit concert will be held 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Mandalay Bay Events Center, featuring performances by Don Henley and Train and live appearances by comedians Kevin James and Dennis Miller.
Earlier in the day, Tiger Woods, the benefit's sponsor, will make an appearance to selected children to celebrate Start Something, a free program that encourages children ages 8 to 17 to plan their futures and allows them to apply for scholarships to pursue their goals.
