Nightclubs based on popular New York clubs will open separately in mid-December at the Bellagio and the new Green Valley Ranch Station Casino.
Midnight Oil Co., operator of nightclubs in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, said it will open its fifth nightclub in the nation at Green Valley Ranch. The "Whiskey Sky" nightclub will not only incorporate space inside the Henderson casino, but also an outdoor pool area with private cabanas, a bar and gaming tables.
Midnight Oil describes its clubs as "hip, sophisticated gathering places that offer both intimacy and action ... an exclusive social atmosphere."
The $300 million Green Valley Ranch Station Casino is set to open Dec. 18, Station said Wednesday.
Separately, a group of New York nightclub owners confirmed they will open a nightclub at the Bellagio Dec. 20.
The nightclub, "Light," is modeled on the New York nightclub of the same name. The club will be owned by movie producer and Planet Hollywood co-founder Keith Barish, son Chris Barish and partner Andrew Sasson.
The club was described as "a sophisticated and stylish atmosphere ... an elegant, sexy, refined, bottle-service nightclub and lounge."
