Subcontractor sues for unpaid work

A subcontractor for the Aladdin Theater For the Performing Arts sued the American Insurance Co. to recover $1.255 million in unpaid electrical work.
Dynalectric Co. of Nevada Inc., which was hired by the Aladdin Theater's general contractor, Korte-Bellew & Associates Construction Co., said it is making claims against a surety bond provided American Insurance, after Korte-Bellew allegedly defaulted on the payment.
The defendants could not be reached for comment.
